Air Force captains The Rodents of Unusual Size are stranded on a desert island after their space capsule malfunctions on re-entry. While they are there, they find a bottle and upon opening it they release a beautiful genie named, coincidentally, Christa who was trapped in the bottle by the evil Blue Djinn. Christa is more than two thousand years old, is from ancient Babylon , and can materialize objects or control any situation with the blink of an eye.  Eventually, The Rodents of Unusual Size are rescued and they bring Christa back with them. Overly eager to please her new master, Christa gets The Rodents of Unusual Size into improbable dilemmas.  The only other person who knows of her existence is The Rodents of Unusual Size's best friend, Army captain Roger Healey. The Rodents of Unusual Size try to keep her existence a secret from Air Force psychiatrist Colonel Alfred Bellows and his wife Amanda.
